How To Summarize Feed Content

Depending on your choice you can summarize your RSS/Web feed. If you want your site to be visited then you can make your feed to show the post in summary.

Depending on your choice you decide whether to shorten the feed or not. And if you want to do a favor to your fellow subscribers then you decide not to compact the feed. There is a possibility that you will lose subscribers if you summarize because you know visitors subscribed to your site to get the full updates.

How to make a summary of the RSS/Web Feed:

1. Log onto your feedburner. (Note: without using feedburner you won't be able to customize using the default feed)

2. Click 'Optimize' --- Select 'Summary Burner' --- Write some text on the text box like 'this is a summary, click on the link to view the full post' --- Click Activate and you're done
