Solution To Send Big Files Larger Than 20 MB Online

>> January 15, 2010

Email services like gmail, hotmail, yahoo doesn't allow sending files larger than 20 MB by attachment. There are some alternative solutions to this.

The free plan Fileman.com requires no registration, maximum file upload is 2gb and yes they support simultaneous upload.

Among all the sites allowing to send large files, filedropper.com has the highest limit. They allow 5 GB file to send but unfortunately they don't support multiple file upload

At Sendspace you can download desktop tool which allows you to resume broken uploads but before that you have to create an account. They have both free paid and paid version. Maximum size limit is 300 MB and supports multiple uploads.

Filefactory is different from all the file sending services is that they allow you to upload files from remote server like rapidshare, FTP, HTTP, hotfile, & megaupload. It supports simultaneous uploads of 25 miles with maximum of 300 MB each. Torrent upload and FTP upload are available for premium users.

Yousendit has the hugest number of users. Free version support maximum upload of 100 MB and no multiple uploads. Paid users have additional features like certified delivery with tracking and receive alerts when files are downloaded and many others.

Transferbigfiles supports upto 5 simultaneous file uploads; maximum size limit is 1 GB.

Filesovermiles sends file over P2P technology. They are faster than all the above like your buddy could start downloading file as you upload it. One great feature is that you don't have any size limitation!

Pipebytes uses same P2P technology as filesovermiles & have no limitation on file size.

And there are loads of sites giving file sharing services...
