I wrote a post on Ad Blocking In Google Chrome previously, on how to get of rid of ads in chrome browser but that method is out-of-date.
Sadly official adblocklpus is not supported for Google chrome, it’s only availabe for firefox and k-melon but there is an unoffical adblock for chrome which works similarly as adblock plus and the ad filter lists are updated regularly.
