Google related services and skype is probably going to be banned by Indian government. Government can’t access encrypted information that are sending through skype and google related services so they decided to impose a ban on them.
User exchanging information in an encrypted way through Google can’t be monitored by Government. Using this encrypted method criminal can easily make contact with other and carry out criminal activities.
Government officials said that terror attack on Mumbai in 2008 were coordinated in this way so the Government didn’t have any indication that such thing would happen. For this reason Indian government is planning to ban some services where communication is encrypted
