How To Export All Keywords From Google Analytics

I wrote a similar tutorial which many readers find it difficult on previous post, How To Extract All The Keywords From Google Analytics. This post is easier and updated. Enjoy.

Google analytics have an excellent option to see what keywords are driving traffic to your site. By analyzing those keywords you can understand whether the keywords you targeted are successful in driving traffic.

You can export all the keywords from Google analytics to a csv file which you can save it your hard drive. But you can save only first 500 keywords.

In order to save all the keywords ranging above 500, do the steps mentioned below:

1. Log onto Google analytics and select report for the desired site

2. Click Traffic Sources and then select Keywords which appears under that category

3. Click export and copy the CSV link address

4. Put the copied link address in the address bar and put &limit=5000 at the end of the rl

For example my copied CSV link is

https://www.google.com/analytics/reporting/export?fmt=2&id=22249283&pdr=20100705-20100804&cmp=average&rpt=KeywordsReport

and after adding &limit=5000 the link became:

https://www.google.com/analytics/reporting/export?fmt=2&id=22249283&pdr=20100705-20100804&cmp=average&rpt=KeywordsReport&limit=5000

4. Click enter, download windows will appear and save the csv file having all the keywords.

My csv file having more than 500 keywords:
