On my previous post, I mentioned about my hotmail hack incidence. Recovering hotmail is very simple. You don’t need to buy any hotmail hacking tools (do they really work?!) or hire hotmail password hackers.
After my account got hacked I tried to reset my password by secret answer option but I couldn’t remember the answer, later tried to get the password reset link on my alternate email but no luck.
Not losing hope, I searched Google and forum about password recovery for hotmail. Most of the solution I got was to recover either by secret answer or by getting password reset link on alternate mail or by downloading a password recovery software. None of the sites except few mentioned that we have a way to reset password by filling out a form on https://windowslivehelp.com/PasswordReset.aspx provided if secret answer or alternate mail options are not working.
The page will ask you about the alternate email first and hacked email id and at the last stage they will ask you to provide lots of information to verity that you are real…
You will need:
Full Name, Date of Birth, Country, State, Zip, the secret answer, alternate email address, your ip address, your ip address, your isp, the last date and time that you successfully signed in, the names of any folders that you created in addition to the default folders, names of contacts in hotmail address book, subjects of any old mail that is in your hotmail Inbox or mail folders, names of contacts on your messenger contact list, messenger nickname.
The red ones are required but I would suggest to fill all the filed box.
Submit the form and wait for few days for the password reset link. I got the email after seven days.
