How To Shield Your Google Adsense Account From Getting Banned

Even if you are not involved in clicking your own adsense ads or involved in any click exchange partnership you still have likely chance of getting banned because some of you blog visitors might have repeatedly click on your adsense ads intentionally or without any intention.

I have faced this kind of trouble and still facing. There are no wordpress plugins that could save you from it but I heard of a paid script that will block adsense code to an IP if a repeated click occur from that same IP. But they are not so popular among the bloggers because many are saying that using such script is against Google adsense TOS.

Adsenseclicklock and AdsenseGuard are two such script and both of them costs $27 only.

Hence, it is better to rely on alternative method that is tracking your adsense CTR, number of clicks and then report it to Google.

None of the popular web stats like Google analytics, Woopra monitor adsense click except Statcounter. And probably it is the only stat software which allows you to see which IP has clicked on which adsense ads and how many times along with time and date.

So it’s very simple to figure out which visitors did the invalid or fraud click. These simple three points can help you to figure out invalid click:

1. Repeated click at same time and date
2. Repeated click from the same page
3. Related click from same IP

On exit link activity page you will be shown a list of link which has been clicked by visitors on exiting. You can see on the image that the phrase “Google adsense” is shown three times in a row and all the click activity occurred at the same time and from the same page which means the click is invalid.

Clicking on the magnifying class will reveal more detail like the IP, date, time, URL of the page, the source of traffic or the referring URL, visitor activity on the website, how many times the ads have been clicked and from which page and many more.

From the visitor analysis page note down the IP, URL, time and date and report it to Google from the following link, https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/request.py?contact_type=invalid_clicks_contact

I know it is a very boring task and needs constant monitoring but a little hard work will keep your adsense account alive.
