My old pendrive got broken so yesterday I went to the mall and bought a 2gb flash drive but ended up buying a fake SanDisk flash drive! Later, I compared it with my cousin’s genuine one and I found a huge difference in the rate at which the data being transferred. Some tips for distinguishing between counterfeit and genuine are given below:


You can see from the image that the counterfeit products have the logo missing unlike the genuine one. Let’s see how the transfer rate varies (the test was done with 2gb fake SanDisk cruzer micro) :
