K-Meleon ! Probably you never heard of. Although not very popular but among the geeks, this browser is quite popular and is known to be lightest browser on earth compared to opera, firefox, chrome, safari and internet explorer
K-melon uses the same engine (Gecko platform) as firefox. Page loads considerably faster compared to Opera and Internet Explorer but it falls behind when comparing with chrome and firebox. If you think that firefox is consuming your memory too much then k-melon would be the best alternative. Currently, I am using k-melon and google chrome.
I surfed the k-mleon facebook group and found many positive feedback from k-melon users. They seem to be satisfied with k-melon. Most of them says that Facebook works better on k-melon browser.
The browser has built-in mouse gestures which are fun to use and enables you to navigate quickly. K-melon officially doesn’t support extensions but however there are unofficial sites providing extensions for k-melon. http://extensions.geckozone.org/K-MeleonEn is one such site.
