Square trade is a warranty provider of electronic products for consumers. Recently they surveyed 30,000 laptops and based on consumer experiences published a report.
All the laptop were surveyed within the 3 years period and found that the HP has the highest malfunction rates whereas Toshiba and Asus has the lowest malfunction rates. Moreover, netbooks are more prone to have problem in their hardware than the laptops.
